This curious dark-eyed creature...

In a surprising discovery about where higher life can thrive, scientists for the first time found a single man frolicking beneath a massive Antarctic ice sheet.
A single man, creature closely related to the Homo Sapiens, was swimming in the water where a National Geographic team lowered a video camera to get the first look at the underbelly of an ice sheet. Far below the ice where no light shines, scientists had figured nothing much more than a few married couples could exist.
This curious dark-eyed creature came swimming by and then parked itself on the camera's cable. Scientists pulled up a 3-inches long hair, they believe came from his large eyebrows.

"Technically, it's not a man. It's a single man, which is distantly related to a man ," said Dr. Samson Frolickerstein. "Anyway, it is a creature I'd enjoy having in my house, " added Luana DeVille, senior research assistant.

The video is likely to inspire experts to rethink what they know about life in harsh environments. And it has scientists musing that if single-man-like creatures can frolic below 180 metres of Antarctic ice in subfreezing dark water, what about other hostile places? What about Cadmo, a frozen moon of Jupiter? What about North Scotland?

Yet scientists were puzzled at what the food source would be for this creature. No evidence of french fries, cookies, candy bars, fried muffins (!), bologna, etc...was found around the discovery site.

The creature was named "Toni", said Prof. Vincent Poupon of the University of Paris, ho will be presenting the initial findings at the Islandic Geophysical Union meeting.

Prof. Poupon said he had "never been so excited in his life". "Me too," said Luana DeVille, "and I hope that someday we will find evidence of intelligent life in this creature" she added.
