Movie: Felon (2008)

John Smith: Usually Im quoting someone elses words. The least I can

do is give you some John Smith originals. They wont be poetic. But

theyll be the truth. Yes, prison desensitizes you. But it also

forces you to see whats most important. Family. And loyalty.

Because a con like you knows neither exists in this place. So dont

run from who youve become, felon. Embrace it. Grow from it. And

youll never lose sight of what truly matters. Thats my final

piece of advice, Wade Porter. You protect your family at all costs.

Even if youre forced to kill again. Because if i had to, I’d wipe

out the whole planet to get mine back. So long, friend.

Francesco

We did hear a homily. It was in clear, simple Italian and delivered a clear, simple message: look after each other and the environment, don’t be afraid of tenderness, take care of the poor and the weak. Catholic or Prostestant, Jew, Muslim or atheist, whatever part of the world you’re from, you couldn’t really argue with that.

what a magnificent thing is the church : in hundreds of years, no pope thought necessary to pay a real tribute to Francesco d'Assisi.
